In the recent 35-day shutdown, more than $9 billion in federal compensation went unpaid. The government was reopened for three weeks and it’s in the process of paying the amount owed to the workers who were furloughed.
A security glitch in Apple’s FaceTime app is letting people hear the other person they’re calling even if the call has not been accepted. In some cases, the glitch also allows users to see real-time video of the people they are calling.
Just last year, Walmart hired about 1,400 drivers but it seems this is not enough. A statement released by the retailer notes that it needs “hundreds more” this year to fill the demand.

The former employee says that stopping a car during a test drive even for a bathroom break was problematic since the vehicle had to reboot before it could start all over again. The company made it clear that drivers “should probably hold it”.
